every year they have the parade, every year they don't allow the queers, every year a few of them protest. the parade is a private event held on city streets showcasing the nypd, folkdancing girls and a few politicians. i've never gotten riled up enough about it to get out to protest, feel like in the scheme of things it doesnt really matter, though i support folks up in arms enough to get out there. wondering what folks in here think, if anyones gone to the protests...?
